Nissan electrification/duality campaign

Problem: Nissan launched two captivating campaigns to introduce the world to the brand-new Nissan Ariya, which is all electric! Nissan ran two campaigns: the electrification campaign, in which it advertised its new electric vehicle; and the duality campaign, in which it illustrated the vehicle's dual personality, for instance, "Beauty and Beast." Their brand-new Nissan Ariya is a vehicle for those who enjoy both power and speed. Now, we needed to come up with a creative and engaging approach to explain this car to the audience.

Insight: People loves patterns and meaning behind them, when they are tied to an origin

Idea: Use the already existing grid structure that Nissan Ariya has and use it to create ideas that look appealing and feel like they belong to Nissan.

Execution: Use the grid system to make posters and visual content to give the audience a sense of duality!

 

There are a few exciting commercials that Highlights the Nissan Ariya in fun, engaging ways. Here is a Sizzle reel that we mixed together to show all that electrifying side of the Ariya in one video.

Nissan’s grid system design is based on a breakdown of the angles found in a single unit of a specialized Arroba pattern designed specifically for the Nissan Ariya.

 

We used that design to develop comps using typography and the grid system for the “Duality” campaign to demonstrate the dual nature of a car.

 

For upcoming advertisements, we also offered a shotlist to emphasize the dual nature of the Nissan Ariya.
